Hotel Rocca della Sena: Useful Information for the stay
Copy of the current Regulations also is on the Hotel’s official website: www.hotelroccadellasena.it . The Hotel management maintains the right to alter the current regulations if necessary for the improvement of services and will put up a modified copy of the rules in the Reception area.
In accordance with Article 13 of the D.L. 30.06.2003 n. 196, all of our clients personal data will be processed both by a computer system and manually, in order to carry out tax obligations (making invoices, record data, etc..) and to send advertising and promotions relating to our Hotel. On arrival to our guests will be asked for proof of identity which will be presented to the relevant police department.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in: between 16:00 and 20:00
When it is not possible to arrive on time, it is essential to inform the Hotel.
Check-out: by 10:30 a.m.
If you want a late check-out, you have to ask authorization at the reception. In case it is possible, the receptionist will tell you the new time for the check-out and the extra cost. If the room will not be released for 12:00 a.m. (time needed to clean the room by) will be charged on your bill the total cost of the room for the whole day.
We inform our guests that the Hotel has insurance which covers any injuries to its clients within the Hotel. This insurance covers only the period of stay at the Hotel between check-in and check-out.
During the stay the room must always be available to guests but the Hotel requests that it also must be available to us for the daily clean for 30 minutes between 09:00 and 15:30.
The bed-linen is changed every 3 days, the bathroom towels daily unless otherwise requested by the guests for purposes of respect of the environment.
REQUIREMENT OF EXTRA TOWELS OR BED LINEN: Every room has bed linen and bathroom towels (1 bath towel, 1 hand towel , 1 bidet towel per person ).
If the guest requires extra towels or bed linen to that provided by the hotel , it will be necessary to pay an extra cost:

Bookings can be made online contacting the Hotel directly at our e-mail address: email@example.com, by the booking online on our website or by travel agent.
The quote is not to be considered as confirmation of booking.
ON AUGUST: IT’S REQUESTED A MINIMUM STAY OF 6 NIGHTS.
On confirming the booking the Hotel issues a confirmation Voucher to be presented at Reception on arrival in order to avoid possible misunderstandings or disputes about the length of stay and offers included in the price.
To issue the Voucher the Hotel – to guarantee the booking – asks for the credit card number, its expiry date and name of the cardholder. The card will be checked by the Hotel to ensure its validity. The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
The amount owing will be taken off only in case of a “no show” or if the rules regarding cancellation mentioned in paragraph 6 of the regulations have not been adhered to.
Clients who do not have a credit card must contact the Hotel to agree a method of payment and the conditions to have a confirmation Voucher issued.
THE HOTEL ACCEPTS the following terms of payment:
Visa, Euro/MasterCard, American Express, Maestro CartaSì.
The Hotel reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before arrival (requesting authorization from the relevant credit card company).
THE HOTEL DOES NOT ACCEPT: – CHEQUES.
– PRE-PAID CARDS: The transmission of a pre-paid cards will do consider NOT CONFIRMED the booking and the Hotel may have the right to sell the room to other guests without further explications.
No-show: in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
For stays starting in the period from 12th May to 30th June and from 12 th September to 24 th September, If cancelled up to 11 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival, the Hotel will charge the 100% fee of the total amount of your stay.
For stays starting in the period from 01st July to 11 th September, if cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 20 days before date of arrival, the Hotel will charge the 100% fee of the total amount of your stay.
In case of postponed arrival (not communicated within Cancellation Terms) or in case of early departure, the customer must pay the full amount of his stay.
If the client has reserved the room by sending a DEPOSIT the following conditions will apply:
a. The deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
b. For stays starting in the period from from 12th May to 30th June and from 12 th September to 24 th September, if the guest cancels their reservation within 10 days of date of arrival , he must pay the 100% of the stay (that is the remaining amount of the stay ) as penalty.
c. For stays starting in the period from 01st July to 11th September, if the guest cancels their reservation within 20 days of date of arrival, he must pay the 100% of the stay (that is the remaining amount of the stay ) as penalty.
7. HOW TO CANCEL A BOOKING
Cancellations must be made in writing and communicated by e-mail or fax.
If the guest wishes to cancel a booking without paying a penalty then it must be done within the time limits and conditions stabilized by the Hotel (as set out in point 6 of this actual regulation) otherwise the Hotel will charge a penalty as mentioned in Cancellation Terms.
INFORMATION ABOUT CREDIT CARDS AND PRE-AUTHORISATION
In case of no-show or not communicating cancellation, the Hotel will not be able to re-sell the room and therefore will suffer an economic loss.
For self-protection the Hotel will pre-authorize your credit card to guarantee the future payment: the credit card details will be verified and pre-authorization will be done. This operation will temporarily block the amount and at check-out will be charged.
Our Hotel only asks for payment at check-out (except for non-refundable rates for which payment will be made at the time of booking without the possibility of being refunded, in case of cancellations or cancellations which are not within the time limits, or in case of no-show).
When the amount is charged, the company that issued the credit card will un-block the pre-authorized amount; this usually happens within 72 hours of the payment made.
The price of the stay includes:
Rich Continental Breakfast between 08:00 and 11:00
Use of sun terrace and Jacuzzi in the garden
Change of bed linen each 3 days, towels every day Use of Mini-Gym n.1 beach towel per person on arrival
INFORMATION FOR PARKING: you can park your car in the residential street in front or near the ho-tel (here it is not possible reserve a car-parking)
The price does Not Include:
Use of sauna: 5,00 € per person (1 hour)
Beach umbrella and sun-beds in the beaches below the hotel
Change of beach towel (3,00 € per towel)
Extra daily cleaning or Extra change of bed linen or towels
Telephone calls or Sky Pay per View
Items from the Mini-bar or Drinks or food at the Bar
City tax: 2,00 Euros per person per night
BEACH SERVICE: The beach service is optional and agreements must be made with the operator of the cho-sen beach. However below the hotel there are also parts of free beach.
ROOM SERVICE: The Hotel does room service ONLY FOR REFRESHMENTS BAR has a supplement of 3,00 Euros per order (between 8:00 and 20:00).There is no room service between 20:00 and 08:00.
SAFE: Each room has a safe to keep money and valuables. The guests are required to place their objects in it and to make sure that when they leave the room the safe is always well closed. The Hotel is not responsible for any theft or loss.
RENTAL OF CARS, MOTORBIKES, BICYCLES, BOATS : The guest who are interested in renting a car, motorcycle, bicycle or boat may ask at the reception information and telephone numbers of rental managers, but the agreements and contracts are signed directly with the managers of rental. The Hotel does not assume any responsibility for problems concern contracts with rental managers.
EXCURSIONS: The guests who are interested in excursions to the Aeolian Islands or along the coast and in the hinterland may ask for information at the reception. The receptionist does not reserve or makes tickets for excursion and does not assume any responsibility for problems in excursions.
The staff at Reception are not required to resolve guest problems unrelated to the services offered by the Hotel.
PARKING: Our Hotel has not a private parking inside of the structure . It is possible to park the car outside the building. Here IT’S NOT POSSIBLE RESERVE A PARKING SPACE.
DAMAGE IN THE HOTEL
Anyone causes damage the Hotel or the objects in the room or loses or damages the keys provided from the Reception, will have to pay a penalty based on the entity of the damage done, that will be added to the cost of the stay.
The furniture elements that are in the room and the linen are a property of the Hotel. Each room has bed linen and bath linen proportioned on the total number of the occupants. If during the stay is detected the missing of any elements, will be applied a penalty on the final account of the customer.
GENERAL CONDUCT RULES IN ROOMS AND IN THE HOTEL
SMOKING: All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed in the whole building.
ONLY GUESTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS AND IN THE HOTEL. Family or friends’ visits must be authorized by management and the visitor is required to leave identification at the reception that will be collected when leaving the Hotel.
USE OF THE LIFT: The use of the lift is not allowed to minors.
The towels of the bathroom cannot be utilized outside of the room for hygienic reasons. The hotel asks guest to use YELLOW BEACH TOWELS in the solarium, for the jacuzzi in the garden and for the beach.
FIRE PREVENTION REGULATIONS
It’s strictly forbidden to use in the room:
– stove warming;
– electric heaters
Shavers, mobile and computer battery rechargers (norm CE) and even those with a transformer are all allowed. The Hotel has no responsibility for damage to these devices caused by circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control.
DUE TO FOOD HYGIENE SAFETY and TO AVOID UNWANTED GUESTS (ants, cockroaches … and other types of insects or rodents) IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO PREPARE OR CONSUME MEALS OR DRINKS THAT ARE NOT OF THE HOTEL IN THE ROOMS.
USE OF THE MINI-BAR: Please make sure our frigobar is used only for the appropriate products of our hotel. The incorrect use of it could break the engine and it could cause hygienic risks. If you need to conserve products in the fridge, please give them to the Receptionist, who will provide to conserve them in fridges with controlled temperature.
If the mini-bar is damaged for the incorrect use of it, the hotel will add a fine on the room’s bill.
THE HOTEL DOES NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS.
SILENCE AT NIGHT: From 11:00 p.m. the volume and tone must be kept low. Please be silent even in the corridors and stairs and in the terraced-garden.

FINNISH SAUNA – MINI-GYM – From 10:30 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30.
